Apparently the manufacturer does not recommend them for caravan use as stated here: (update: this forum changes links, scroll down to the 'Customer questions & answers' section on amazon to see the response from Trotec)

Saying that, that model seems so use the same tech as the one I have and was recommended by a repairer:
Whichever you end up buying, beware that you can get a lot of false positives due to the construction of motorhomes, I'm sure I could wave one round anyones MH and make them think they had a damp problem!

Want it for the house walls mainly. The MH is still under damp warranty so only an indicator.
