I went on the Triumph factory tour yesterday, absolutely loved it. The factory was very impressive and we spent 2 hours going through every aspect of making a triumph even down to milling crank and camshafts. The amount of investment in quality control was staggering.

it also has a permanent exhibition of the notable Hinckley Triumph's with yet more disasembled engines etc.

very good value for £18

I went on it last month. I chose a Friday afternoon so I wold see them working on the bikes. Unfortunately because they had reached their target for the week - they had all pi***ed off early!!!. Good tour though and thoroughly enjoyed it. I amazed at how many factories they have around the world now. I would love to try the new Thruxton R.

It would have been nice to see some production going on but the benefit of going while its not is that you can get in a bit closer and not have to stay behind the lines.
