Hello everybody, going to Anglesey this weekend and campsite booked. Wondering if anybody has advice where to go for the day and be able to park 7.25m Motorhome? Happy to go anywhere but not sure where we can park? Any advice gratefully received.

Ligwy Bay near Moelfre has a wonderful beach and there is a car park where you can park motorhomes

Newborough Forest is lovely for walking and has a large carpark.
Breakwater Park appears to be still closed unfortunately.

Another vote for Newborough, one of the best beaches I have ever seen.

The chap who works in the chippy nearby was telling me how his Grandad helped plant the forest to prevent the sand being blown inland.

I thought you were going to say:
"There's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis
Just like you swore to me that you'd be true
There's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis
But he's a liar and I'm not sure about you."

As Newborough has already been mentioned ...and if you enjoy walking you could visit South stack..there is parking available at the end of South stack Road. ..just not sure how busy it is now..
From there if weather is good a walk to holyhead mountain..views are lovely..
There is also the option of parking round at holyhead Country Park and walking from there but it is a reasonable hike..
If you enjoy stately homes there is plas Newydd overlooking the menai straights..again if its open? Or the sea life zoo just a bit further down the road ..
Andy..

What ever you do do not go over the old bridge.
Went over it for a few days before lockdown to visit childhood memories,
It's narrow through the old arches, never looked that narrow when I was a kid in the scoutmaster campervan on the way to Molfre !

Hello everybody, thanks for all of the advice and we have eventually found a place at Cae-mawr-caravan-club-site for 3 nights.

Best wishes
