Anyone tried it yet? Go on, download it and test it for me:BigGrin:
It's OK for me. :thumb:
Edit to add PC (XP) and MAC versions both used without issue.
I've been using it (4.01) for a couple of weeks on a Mac. Seems fine and is quite fast. Occasionally I have noticed a slight 'hang' but I'm not sure if that was FF, the ADSL or the number of programs I had running. Things got a bit frozen the other day when I had FF, Chrome and Google Earth all running at the same time as well as Word, Excel and Mail.
Yes, downloaded it last Friday so it's been running almost a week with no problems (XP Home SP3 desktop PC).
was involved in the beta testing and now have the full firefox 4. It works far better and Ive not had any issues/problems xxxx
Yes, one problem for me and others on the web forums, the drop down google search box. You have to finish typing the words in the search box as the drop down box words can't be clicked on. Difficult to explainoh: but you used to be able to go to the search you had done previously and click on that again but now it doesn't work for me or others that have posted on forums.
I have reported it and it is known about by google
Using windows 7
Downloaded it this morning and then removed it a couple of hours later. Its slower than 3 at the moment. Gone back to a version of 3 that I downloaded last October. Using Mac
I don't like it. I have it on one of the crates at work, and few of my add-ons work with it.
I shall stay where I am - happy with 3.6.13
Had it running about a week now - quite happy. Interesting "Apps". Have a Facebook (yes, I know I exceed the age limit) which lets me know if there are any updates to look at. Haven't looked at any others yet.
Mrs has been running it for a couple of weeks on her laptop and we've had it on the main office pc for over a week. Only issue so far is our webmail doesn't like it so we use IE for webmail.
Working fine here.
