many many years! since I was a kid
warm white vinegar cleans all sorts of things, a bit of a miracle product

Recently I had to de-rust a load of used horse shoes. A couple of days later and the rust residue just wiped off revealing the silver grey steel like new

Thank you :giggle: im not seeking them out just aware that the are not the devils food, the armed forces have benefitted from this for years, there is much worse to be had in the pre-cooked and re heated in eateries often masquerading as restaurant food, if you have ever watch cold sloppy Porridge being squeezed of of a plastic tube in to a warming pot its about as good as it gets (even then will have added sugars and goodness knows what else).

1. Take pan off hob
2. Look at mess in the pan
3. Lift pan and turn round
4. Launch pan into bin
5. Buy new pan
rinse and repeat

My dear mum used to say that powdered egg was best for baking, maybe because its all they had during the WW2 rationing.:unsure:
I think its used in all commercial biscuit & cake manufacturing, I guess its more consistent, easier to measure etc.

I will have to ask Mr Kipling, as he makes exceedingly horrible, over sweetened cakes and fruit pies.:giggle:

Microwave one minute. Whisk with fork. Microwave one minute. Whisk with fork. Microwave 30 seconds. Whisk and serve. Rinse bowl. Add butter at outset for tastier eggs. Boil/poach/fry eggs if you donā€™t have a microwave.

Daughter came round to our house and made scrambled eggs in the microwave, they were horrible.

Iā€™ve just replaced all my pans with a stacking set with ceramic linings. What a revelation, best cooked eggs of any variety and absolutely no stick!! Can recommend.

Canā€™t abide scrambled eggs! Fried, poached, boiled, okay. Scrambled? an abomination. But thanks for the tip. šŸ™‚šŸ‘
I'm with you.. eggs any other way except scrambled (or fertilized)
