It begs the question, how are you entering Portugal?
If you are entering from another EU country, and I can't work out how you could get in, any other way, then they are hardly likely to stop you because logistically UK camper vans form a small sample of peeps crossing the border.
And, in any case, I doubt the Portuguese would even contemplate searching the Brish for a wayward saugage roll.
We crossed into France in early Jan and no checks at all, then crossed into Spain and then Portugal, again with no checks at all for food (or anything)
