Travel testing to be scrapped by month end

I've just read in The Times a new report suggesting all testing for fully vaccinated travellers is to be scrapped by the end of the month. I obviously can't confirm the veracity, but post for information.

"A source close to Grant Shapps said: “We are looking at removing all Covid tests for vaccinated travellers by the end of January, which is likely to coincide with the review of the plan B measures on January 26.”

That would be marvellous. The testing is all about money anyway. If it wasn’t the free LFT would suffice.

I would be glad to see this go as its pretty pointless. Imo they should have retained the test before you travel, especially for flying.

it makes sense if you are trebled jab & have some common sense about you . BUT if you live in Lincolnshire those type of people are a bit thin on the ground . that's why we use the tunnel even though we don't like it we had enough of ferries coming back at the start of the pandemic march 15th 2020 nobody wearing was masks only us
