I've just spent over half an hour talking with the Claims Handler from DirectLine. My expenses will be paid in full, - less the dogs!- but she said it would take 41 days to pay me! This is because of the number of airline delay/cancellation claims being processed right now. Insurers have taken on new staff, but she said the calls are relentless!
