Well, we have reached that age, (70+) where travel insurance premiums, both annual and single trip, have gone through the roof.

We require cover for up to 90 day trips.

Does anyone have any information on Companies that are willing to cover 90 day trips to Europe for someone who (apparently) has one foot in the grave owing to advancing age.

We have found these very good.

It depends on how many conditions you have to declare but the basic 6 month cover through the Camping Club is £104 per person, you then have to phone the screening number which for some reason is based in Capetown and pay them any sum to cover pre existing conditions.
Mine came to £9.40 while my wife’s was nearly £700, guess who is in Spain without the extra cover.

Totally worth it!

We have just taken out Annual Multi Trip, (max 62 days per trip), with LeisureGuard Insurance.

We actually spoke to a real person who tried to help, not just read from his computer screen.

A good price for two (just) over 70’s, and less than half that from SAGA. All other companies we tried were more expensive for the same cover.
