Traumatic E blow air only blowing cold air not heating (1 Viewer)

I have a 1999 TFiat Ducato Machzone. Silver mint. Traumatic E blow air system only blowing cold . There is no fire in the van just the blow air system the light just flashes red on the control. Only had the Motorhome a week . I have a photo of the control but not sure how to upload it .Does anyone have a clue what could be the cause or am I missing something ?

Is gas on?
have you got crash button on regulator, is it pressed?
do you have working gas hob?
what voltage are your hab batteries?

You won't have that type of regulator on your van.

Flashing red light normally means no gas. Havs it been working since you had the van?
If not try following the gas pipe back from the heater to se if there is an isolation tap that's turned off.

As has been said,low battery or no gas according to this.

If the Hob is working then the crash button has not activated.

As I understand it, it is a button on the regulator that stops gas flow if there is an impact.

On mine if you changed bottles then you needed to press the button to complete the job.

Thank you All so much . My husband can check out all your advice at the weekend . When we brought it the seller showed us it working and come to think of it not sure it heated up . But He was giving us so much information. I honestly can’t remember. It’s independent from the water heater that’s brand new and the is no heater or fire like we’ve had in Previous caravans and our last Motorhome. Just the blow air system .

Think it only works off the gas there is no electric switch as far as I can see ?
