Hi, can anyone help please, my heating has stopped working,,the outer grey control is floating and if l move it the green and yellow light comes on then turns to red after a minute.. The outer switch is obviously damaged,, can anyone advise please...

have you checked the gas is turned on as it looks like a fault with gas?
try setting it to say 4 and see if it fires up then?

Yes gas is on,, have tried all settings,,thanks

If the switch is damaged, I suggest starting with replacing the switch.

if its switching on and then going red i doubt if the switch isnt working red light is either no gas or low voltage try it with your engine running

Quick check. Have you got an external gas flu cover. If so ensure it is removed.

Check:

• The internal gas manifold tap is turned on
• If there's an external flue cover remove it
• The gas cylinder is fully turned on
• That there is gas in the cylinder you've turned on
• Its not cold - if it's butane when the temperature drops to around 5 degrees this can reduce its pressure
• Is everything else working okay on gas

If the answer to all of the above then it is either the control or the Truma itself.

Does the fridge & cooker work on gas ? Does the switch control feel ok? Had this problem with mine earlier this year,if i tapped the regulator with a small hammer the boiler kicked into life for a while. Ended up changing the regulator & everything was fine again.
