Trailer/Motormover Battery Charging

I have a small car trailer with a motormover attached which uses a leisure battery to operate, now that I am not going to use it for quite a while (probably 9 months) i have taken the battery off and have it at home. Now do i just leave it on a CTek charger all the time or do i charge it every so often, which is the recommended action? I know it will need to be charged but will it do any damage just leaving it on all the time?

If its a proper smart charger it can be left connected indefinately.

The CTek charger is as far as i am aware a proper smart charger. Been using them for years.
