Has anyone got any experience with this trailer. It is just big enough to take an MP3 and has a payload of 500KG. It certainly looks the part and is half the price of something like the Armitage or CCM trailers but as the saying goes buy cheap buy twice.

Looks fine to me as well

There's not much to a trailer with no brakes , a coupling they buy in so it's the same as all the others and a axle which they also buy in

Looks fine to me. You'll want some anchor points.

Cheers James

The problem with unbraked trailers are that they can be a bit of a nuisance to handle on the ground, so to speak. Images of the MP3 sailing off into the sunset! However, if you're happy with that, then why not?

Agree, on anything but the flattest ground when loaded will prove a tricky task, unhitching, or hitching up. To unload when not hitched you will also need some rear drop down legs, or addition jockey wheels. The additional jockey wheels give the option of removing the main wheels, but still being able to move the trailer around.
Mike.

I found something like this on the trailer helped to see it in the mirrors when reversing etc.

Thanks for all the comments. The Armitage trailer doesn't have brakes either yet is twice the price. Having said that I notice the retail price of this trailer has risen by £80 in the last 24 hours - probably due to covid :giggle:

Looking at the stock photos it seems flexible in its loading configurations so ok for MP3 and the rear box section acts as a stay when loading as the bed tilts. On paper it looks good but the proof of the pudding is in the eating - right.

Trailers without brakes can be a pain when unhitched, but I'm also a believer you get what you pay for, if we buy things from the Chinese shop we know it's cr@p but it's cheap, if we want something to last we buy from the ferreteria. 🤔 Bob

There’s something in that. Production of most things has been hit by shortages of raw materials in one way or another and the trailer manufacturers are no exception. I recently went to the largest distributor of IFor Williams trailers in the Westcountry to collect a long ago ordered P8e for a larger quad that wouldn’t fit in the P7e. The large storage yard, which is usually chockablock with every imaginable type of new and secondhand trailer, was nearly empty apart from a scattering of horse boxes, a twin axle plant trailer and my lonely unit! They had a back order of more than 650 trailers and counting! Whichever you decide to buy make sure it’s stored very securely as even s/h ones are like the proverbial rocking horse poo at the moment.

There a trailer chassis on eBay for £200 which might suit.
Just needs a ply flooring board fitting.

Bargain for the right person.
