Toyota IQ manual towing

Hi everone, have got the opportunity to buy a Toyota IQ manual , with a view to tow it behind my Bailey Motorhome, any advice wouls be greatly appreciated.

I had an IQ, I loved it! Does it have keyless ignition? If so, I think there’s a problem with towing it.


Something along the lines of the electric steering lock has to be modified to allow the wheels to turn, but this could cause an insurance problem.

We have just had an AFrame fitted to our Aygo. That is the 1.00 ltr robotised manual. Only towed it home from the installer . 100 miles . but seemed aok.

We have a 1ltr manual iq and it's a great car. But like mentioned earlier ours has keyless entry so not sure how you would need to disable the steering lock.
