Tow car insurance

We currently have our cars insured through Churchill and when I enquired whether they would cover a tow car (on an A Frame) the answer was no.

So my questions are; have you found similar responses from your insurer (I have heard that some will only insure a towed car 3rd party only) and where did you/do you go for your towed car insurance?

We use the Motorhome and Caravan Club to cover both the Moho and the Toad. Not the cheapest, but the cover appears good on paper.
