Like others I have followed Philandmena's guide to get down to the South West and beyond.
Now we are about to set off through France to Toulon.
Does anyone have tips or routes we could use for an (almost) toll-free route from Dieppe?
We have 5 days so hopefully a relaxing drive.

Even with 5 days, I would take autoroute until well past Northern France. There are so many lovely stops down that Eastern side that it is a holiday in itself the further south you go.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes I can see various options using Google , Michelin Route finder and the like.
What I'm really seeking is funsters experience and tips, even better a route like Philandmenas that describes where it's sensible to pay a few tolls for maximum gain?
The problem with sat navs etc. is they are all or nothing when it comes to paying tolls.

In my guide, I did explain how to calculate a route anywhere in Europe and establish the toll costs for a class 2 motorhome or a toll free route. In a nutshell use this.
