Hi, the track for the toilet sliding door has cracked badly and needs replacing, is this a part common to most Chausson MH? I'd rather source UK than try and get from Chausson direct if possible. Any ideas/ advice welcome.
Regards
David

Really need a photo or 2 so we can see exactly what you are talking about

Pictures will help? I have one track that I repaired as simply could not fathom how on earth it was fitted 20 years ago .....

I assume its something like the below, if so unfortunately AFAIK its not a standard part on many Chausson MHs:

Thanks for the replies, yes it's the track that Mel has a picture of above. So it's made by Tambour?

The style of the door is "Tambour". Looking at the track, I'd suggest it was manufactured as a straight roll and bent to shape, maybe with a little heating to help it along. I'd doubt Chausson would have many different shapes of the track made for all their different toilet door designs.

Made by Rehau, the product is called Tambour and they have many different versions

Might be this ?

I've looked at that, it appears to be 'routered in' rather than stand alone and screwed to the surface, as is. If I get stuck it could still be an option though.
If the floor was thick enough I could router that in, any ideas on floor thickness on a 2018 Chaussonwelcome738xlb??

Dont start routing the floor. Cut some plywood to fit either side and stain to match floor.

The ply will only be 3mm bonded to foam routing it would seriously weaken it in that area and you would have to drop the top track for it to work. A non starter.

Thanks for all the advice, I'm going to go down the plywood route, a trip hazard (no more than it already is) but easily fabricated. Cheers

Before you go doing that why not phone O'Leary's in Hull and ask if they have any of the correct track ?
