Toilet query!

If you had 2 friends sitting in your van with their van parked in the next pitch on a campsite with full facilities and the lady of the couple asked to use your loo, would you let her or direct her to her own van loo or the campsite loo?
My good lady thinks this is okay but I'm not comfortable with it. Opinions please!

My view is that decent friends would simply pop back to their own van.

I think its more comfortable her to use her own loo her own van after all every little noise is magnifed, nothing wrong with politly asking if she needs6a torch ? to find her way to her own van.
I would never expect or want to use anyone else's loo while away in the van
At home is a completely different thing.

In your house the fallout has more space to blend with the atmosphere and any suspect noises wouldn't be heard.
Also if I was your friend and used your van loo, there's a very good chance our friendship would end right there!

I wouldn't want to use someones toilet in their van while they were present as I wouldnt want a complete stranger to use mine.

At home, I wouldn’t need to wheel my friends p*** and s*** in a plastic container to a hole in the ground and tip it out to enjoy the aroma.

I cannot say this has ever arisen. It seems normally accepted that if needed you go back to your own van.

Just bring your own cassette, when you need to go, just hot-swap it with the owners

I would automatically go back to my own van if I was the visitor!
Friend of ours visiting us, in her car, needed the loo so we said yes use ours-wrong decision! She needed a handhold to get off the pot and used the wash basin tap! BANG! New tap!
Trouble is people who don’t understand MoHo’s don’t realise that most thing are plastic and/or light construction!

I don't think it's acceptable to ask to use someone else's facilities wouldn't impose myself on a friend in that way

Can’t see the problem, I certainly wouldn’t send someone away nor would I expect a friend to do the same to me.
seems to me some people have some strange toilet hang ups!

Can understand this, but with a condition that means I need to go NOW with very little and sometimes no warning I have, only a couple of times over the years, asked to use someone else's loo. usually I end up going to my own 'in case' which makes the condition worse.

Yes we have allowed others to use our loo, but not total strangers.

Maybe you do not tour in the Pyrenees, Alps and the Tatra Mts.

Anyway, I cannot imagine the few MHomers we associate with even asking to use our toilet as they understand the limitations of wildcamping and would use their own - or find a bush.

Maybe different MH community, different attitudes.

There is so often a difference between what I would think and what I would say.

I would certainly think why not use the other facilities,but unless I could think of a good reason (it's almost full is a good one) I could not bring myself to say no..........and anyway it might be an emergency.

Never done the Pyrenees as a meander or the Tatra's but have been in the wilds of Hungary Poland ( and some of that is absolutely desolate ! and spent an awful lot of time in the Alps.. One time not seeing a single vehicle or person for several days !
