I think we accidentally took the toilet cassette out without ensuring the blade was in closed position.
Now it is stuck and we can't move it.
Any advice greatly received as we're in Spain!

Is the cassette out of the MH? If so look for a sort of latch on the side of the blade.

May find some paper jammed in there.
Just take the mechanism out and you will soon find the problem.
The part that holds the mechanism turns through about 30° and lifts out. It's very tight so may need a length of timber for a lever.
On older cassettes 6 screws hold it in.

We have adjusted the toothed cog which seems to have helped as it seems to have got out of alignment

We don't put paper in to try keep it from getting too clogged up. I think we've sussed it after advice about adjusting the cog. Never a nice way to start the day, but looking brighter!

Look inside the cassette locker from outside and look up, maybe to the right ?
On a past van we had issues and there was a cogged plastic thingy that often came loose, this opened and closed the flap but if it came loose or off it created similar problems.

Looked like this but only if you have the same model.. worth a check.

At the risk of prolonging things :) but if you use cheap 2 ply loo paper you shouldn't find anything getting constipated, so to speak. Also, the paper takes up negligible volume once it is wet. :)

It makes it a much more poop 💩 thread if it’s splotches and full 😇
Toilet spills are easily sorted if you carry a bag of kitty litter. Back to the bomb bay door, the cogged wheel is easily reset. But the slide itself relies on a disc of plastic held to the mechanism by a small plastic pin that tends to snap if you try to hard to open or close

I don't understand PP Bear's excitement with a potentially full toilet cassette! 🤔 Sorry to report it wasn't, and we fixed it by resetting the cog
Never ever underestimate the attraction and excitement caused by a toilet thread here… ;)

Is that it, you had a toilet problem and you fixed it easily with no spills, slops or pops? Not much of a toilet thread was it?

Can future posters of toilet threads please take note, we want spills, we want disasters, we want 💩 everywhere, we want people complaining, we want clothes covered in the smelly stuff, we want 'never again' and motorhome for sale stuff!

Let's keep this forum fun !! 😀😀😀😀

Sorry to disappoint you all. Will try harder next time. Must start using the moho toilet for number 2s in preparation!
