Just seen this - looks like a total loss. Hope everyone is safe

A38 closed both ways by vehicle fire

There was queuing traffic near the Carkeel Roundabout

It would be interesting to know which company insures the vehicles and how they react to the claim.

Could have been caused seized or activated front bakes

saw this with a toad at a campsite .. drove in with the hub caps melting ..

purely conjecture of course, won't know the cause until it is investigated .

Simple way to help prevent this happening, fit TPMS to the toad and that will alert you if the wheels/tyres are increasing in temperature
