Never book ahead but did this due heat and wanting a campsite not too far fro Ijmuiden. 88 euros agreed came to pay and the card reader said 88 euros but then changed to 110 (the tip) wouldn’t pay. Would you?

Nope , mind you would have a hard time getting me to part with the €88 in the first place :)

Not a chance as it sounds set up to deceive you. Some petrol stations also try and add a donation if you don't check the card reader. Bloody naughty in my opinion

How can anybody claim a tip before a service is delivered and assessed ?
I have only ever tipped restaurant , bar and delivery persons , never a campsite .
My tip to a campsite would be a positive review .

22 euro tip, to a campsite on checking in ?
Someone's havin' a laugh

Maybe it's what they call double dutch ?

Found out what the tip was for.

We asked for a pitch with some shade. She put us on the only pitch that sat in the tree gap when the sun was at it's highest. It's also a corner pitch that everyone cuts across, they even walk under our awning while we're sitting there. Oh and it's right next to those giant bins.

Rest assured that my tip will appear on quite a few review sites.
