Thule Omnivent lid removal (1 Viewer)

Can anyone tell me how to remove lid of the above ? I need to replace it , part 6 in the exploded diagram , and I can't work out how to remove the winding mechanism which sits in the top frame , part number 22. It comes already attached to the new lid so need to remove the old one.
