Thule Omnistor 8000 storm straps

Hi All

My new (to me) motorhome has a Thule Omnistor 8000 awning.

I have the storm straps from my old caravans Fiamma awning but the part that connects to the Awning leg does not fit, no real surprise there I suppose.

Rather than buy new storm straps I am trying to find a way to reuse my Fiamma ones, could anyone post a picture of what the actual metal connector looks like please, so I can see what I need to find?

Or is it simply too much trouble and I buy new straps!

couldn't get mine out to take a photo but a quick google produced this. But £19.95 from leisure outlet is it really worth the botch up?

I use the storm straps from my previous Fiamma on my Thule awning. Just by some large S hooks and hook it around the gap at the top of the legs

Did not think of S hooks.

Ordered and will homely fit and my problem is fixed.
