Thule omnistor 5200 , is it possible to adjust rafter arms down, my support legs don’t reach ground,

:welco:
Sounds a bit odd, give Rose Awnings a ring they are the UK importers.

Your awning should've come with a small plastic package containing short allen bolts and 4 washers. These can be used to alter the height of the awning as it comes out of the housing. There are instructions in the package clearly showing what to do. Basically the awning angle when leaving the housing can be adjusted giving three different angles, by using one, two or no washers.

Mine were included with all of the bumf you normally get with the motorhome. If yours isn't in with it all, I'm sure you'll be able to just buy the bolts and washers. I think they're M6x12, but I'll check tomorrow. If you want me to photograph/measure them let me know.

Good job I checked. M 8 x 10mm. Photos below showing all you need including Thule part number. You could source the parts elsewhere. Washers are 1.5mm thick which is probably important to get the angles right.

Good point. My awning is high but I've got to be careful opening and closing it due to angle it comes out. So I only have the door 1/2 open.

I haven't used the kit yet but when I adjust it, I'll put it on here.

You also shouldn't wind out the awning fully without it being supported by the legs. I think the instructions say wind out 3 or 4 feet then drop the legs to take the strain off of the fixings to the external wall then continue winding out whilst moving the legs forward.
