You're reading it wrong and right!

The 24gb pre-loaded one last for up to 2 years, or until you've used all of the data, whichever comes first.

The 30 day reference is only in relation to any extra add-ons you buy, not the pre-loaded data.

Hi Mel. Ref our PM I took your suggestion and opened my 24Gb one up just to check it worked..
No problem, I just had to enter the cod off my Huwei 955 and bingo ! !
We leave for the ferry on Saturday morning, so only a few days lost..
