2010?
We are looking at Motorhomes with single beds which can make large double over low ceiling garage and dinette at front.
Reading reviews if the garage has high ceiling you can’t sit up in bed without banging head but if garage is smaller then you can.
My question is, we like coming in and lounging rather than always sitting upright so could we use the end singles as our sofa as well?
Opinions welcome pls

We have a Hymer B678DL and although neither of us above 5’8” can sit up without banging our bonces, admittedly there are cupboards above that if you wanted to sit right at top would be in the way but you could make a fold down back rest to get over that I suppose? Our Hymer Exsis had one built in wife used it all the time.?

Usually headroom is inhibited by over-bed(head) cupboards
They are all different and depends on your height

We were looking at that or island bed. Decided on island bed as found one that winds down when not got the garage full so you can properly sit up. I found twin singles claustrophobic in terms of head height.

Yes just to chill during the day but you would be hard pressed to use it as a settee?
The Exsis was probably better for that as it was an island bed.?
