You're far too energetic Jock!
He's had lots of experience cleaning fire engines, a clean fire engine is a happy fire engine I was told when I first joined ...

Clean roof!!
No chance, we’ve come from Thetford Forest site where we parked under the trees….sap, pollen and leaves on ours

Looks like winter out there… I’m not getting out of the van until I see 150w on my solar..😆😎
You are in for a long wait... Hope you have plenty of supplies.

Currently 150W panel on roof and 200W foldout are giving a combined 24W :( At this rate we'll be paying for hookup.

And it's getting much worse. At 3:00pm, I have all of 10W (yes that is ten). I'm going to have to turn the lights on soon ...

If only you'd purchased a candle at the Swaffham auction :giggler:

Thanks for reminding me, I have a firefly light in a jar I purchased, far better than those elusive candles! 😀

Or half an umbrella?
After all this the arid, parched side of the country
Less rainfall than the Sahara……

The forecast for tomorrow is good, no rain, and mostly sun, so fingers crossed.

We've got 4.0kw of solar at home (Colchester only 12 miles away) and only produced 6.6kw from South facing angles panels, we'd expect 20+ this time of year, so a few hundred watts of flat mounted panels don't stand a chance.

And my home solar is not far from the rally. I wonder if I managed 1kw!!

The weather was not good at home today, managed to harvest 15.5kw and export 10kw before we lost the light, but as the rates are below 8p for a few hours in the early morning I'm discharging to the grid at present to make some space in the battery.
