Thanks for your interest...

So when Frankie and I are on the road in our motorhomes, we can talk to each other.

Is that okay with you?

JJ we have a similar set and we used them while on holiday with another funster family, what great fun we had playing eye spy from different vehicles with our Scottish accent and their mixed Geordie and Essex accents. So i can imagine the fun you and Frankie will have :)

Not this week, but a couple of years ago, I bought a pair of walkie talkies, but without telling the boss. She was not best pleased, to the point of being quite  with me.
Needless to say, that within hours, they were making their way back to the supplier for a refund. :(

Personally, I thought they'd be really handy.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

im sure there's a trouser and kilt joke in there somewhere jock

More junk for the cupboards !!

Travel washing line, EHU to 3 pin adapter, hanging shoe rack, 12v charger for my DSLR camera battery, plug in ultrasonic insect repeller (works really well!!) and an 'endless breeze' 12v fan

Currently looking for something to use to create a drying rail/hanger for inside the shower cubicle if anyone has any ideas!!

2 x 120mm fans to use as extractors for the fridge vents as it performed very badly in the recent high temperatures.

Will fit them switched separately in case I only need 1 some of the time.

Front and rear brake pads with sensors (from Mercedes garage). Fitted at my non franchised garage - all in £125. Happy with that.

Ha Ha Steve. TBH, it's not very often that SWMBO puts her foot down, so it's only fair that I allow her that small pleasure of being right for occasionally. ;)

On Friday one of our garage doors wouldn't open properly, upon investigation hubby found that the spring had 'untensioned' and the cables had gone slack due to one breaking. Today we had a chap round to replace the cables and cones and re-tension the spring, we'd also arranged to have our other garage door done at the same time, so the total cost was £120 ... not bad to say the doors have been in use constantly since we put the garages up back in 1993 and the only thing we've had to do is replace the locks which wore out!

A used (but partially filled) Gaslow 11Kgs bottle.

In time I'll be selling two spanish bottles, (I hope).

Wasn't happy with the draw that I keep basic food stuff in.... It was all loose and always moving and "untidy"....

So I measured up... Went hunting around B&M and found these... A Perfik Fit .... :) I bought two sets.. Each set having a large container and two small... The other spare small one is in the draw below.. holding taller things like Ketchup and Mayo bottles.

I bought a Makita multitool, I never really rated them until I had a plumber in last week fitting new CH, he was using one of these and he reckoned it was the one tool he would not be without, replacement blades are expensive but I bought a set from Saxton at a fractition of Bosch prices, tried it out yesterday and it really is the 'Mutts Nuts'.

Just bought a Gaslow Filler Kit from JohnsCross.

I would have bought the Gasit equivalent as it was cheaper but the thought of someone c*cking up the drilling of the 70mm hole through the skin and the 86-90mm hole through the back, filled me with dread so I copped out.

This week I bought an overpriced device for quickly slicing foods to make a coleslaw, which I am very fond of. My problem here was watching the demonstration at the Norfolk Show, it looked so easy and worked so well; until I got home.

Fed up with wrapping elastic bands around our vertical kitchen wipe holder thingy I bought a few novelty plant/hair grips to stop it unfolding. Works really well.

Available at florists and probably on fleabay.

30p each, so I bought 2

A Biatelli coffee pot and creamer set and some of them little window alarms for when wilding and using Aires to wake us if some little barsteward tries to pop the window when we are asleep

Quest 4 pop up room from robert dyas, ordered at the weekend with 20% off, arrived today very chuffed. Also some solar lights from Lidl because @Carol said that it was compulsory to decorate them when we were at the York rally, who am I to argue with lovely Carol.

I'm sure you will love it, we are at Terry's FFF rally and up to now 4 have been delivered to the Rally field here. (y)
