THIS week I bought

Handy to have, and the best place I have found to keep it is alongside the mattress in the fixed rear singles bed.
Mike.

There is only 1 bit missing now - a replacement exhaust system. I'm still the highest bidder on one that I want from Japan though - so fingers crossed! 🤞🤞

A buzbug mosi killer. Tried it out last night and it got 2 of the little blighters (unfed). We don't have a lot of mosi's so it did well. Bought it to take in the van really as it's rechargeable by USB

How long does the battery last, looks like a handy bit of kit. Could you give an update when you've used it a few times? 🤔

The blurb says 7-8 hours continuous use and is probably correct. I am unlikely to use it again before July though ...

Hey Lenny HB ... I've gone and got a battery 'machine'!!!! :p

Not a car but a lawn mower! 😄

After having a fight with our heavy corded lawn mower the other day because the cord continuously wound round itself all the flipping time causing me to spend more time sorting the cord out than cutting the grass :swear: I decided I wanted a cordless one that was lighter and easier to manoeuvre round our various bits of lawn/flower beds etc.

I researched what was out there and what was suitable and fortunately when hubby had a look on Faceache he noticed a virtually new Ryobi 18v ONE+™ 33cm Lawn Mower with 5.0Ah battery and charger had been posted not long before. It's original elderly owner bought it, used it once and has had to move into sheltered housing so it's mint! We got it from his daughter for £100 ... she's been inundated but we were first in the queue!

Just had a go with it and it's so light and easy to use, wish I'd got one years ago!

Two new USB ports!

After the debacle I had with the ones from the Bash, I thought I would have another go at fitting a couple.

Harrah, success!

Now I can charge my phone and other things at the same time. It also illuminates the lounge in a nice light blue ambience. 👍

I'll stick with my petrol mower, but I do have a battery strimmer.

We did have petrol for many, many years, but they were heavy and a pain to move around some of the tight turns - if we only had simply straightish lawns it wouldn't be so bad but we don't - so we changed to using the corded one that we originally bought (new for £30 from a car boot sale) for doing the grass at our rental property when we were trying to sell it. The corded one does a fantastic job especially when the grass is long, and I mean LONG when we get back off holiday, something the new cordless won't be able to handle, so we're keeping the old one for that and hubby can fight with it! I do the cutting most of the time though so for me it's ideal.

Finally bought some Hood bike jeans. Been promising to treat myself to a pair for a couple of years. Paired them with a lovely trendy pair of Richa ankle urban boots. 🥳🥳🥳

Promised myself a treat when i sold my old camper, so bought a cherished number plate, never had one, nothing flash, just hate the reg on the new one, so just waiting on the paperwork.

And have my eye on a towcar of some description, reckon a Panda is looking favourite , 500 Abarth looks mint, but they will all have been ragged to within an inch of their life, and 5 doors ticks more boxes.

Can I ask where you bought them from please?
I got them at cost , it was a pain as the van was a change over van , 06 plate 05 model it took 3 attempts to get the right ones
At one stage I think I had more discs and pads than were on the shelf at the motor factors
