Thetford n3175 fridge freezer problem

The fridge freezer works on hook up and battery but not gas. The flame lights and stays alight but is not cooling the fridge, any ideas?

Blocked jet, normally.

I say normally as ours is the same and after 6 attempts to fix it, Travelworld have ordered a new cooling unit.

I will update the thread when it is fitted in a few weeks to see if it has worked.

Fingers crossed. Jet unblocked and seems to be burning more fiercely now so just waiting on whether fridge cools now ....

Just in case you didn’t realise, as I didn’t. The jet is actually inside the burner. The bit you can see is the burner, that also sometimes gets full of rust etc.

If you do unblock the jet, be very gentle. They are easily damaged.

Thanks everyone all sorted now - blocked jet cleaned out with a needle. Europe here we come!!
