Trying to fill my time getting minor issues sorted. The fridge works well on gas and hookup but when engine is running (no power on in hab area) the fridge wont run. Have had fault code 10, which has now gone any suggestions.

I have looked and I have 2 red wires that run from 12 DC connections on back of the fridge, through floor of the van and then under slung until they appear to go back into cab area just in front of the fuel tank. There is no inline fuse found. Ideas anyone with superior knowledge. The van is a citroen relay 2010.

Our fridge Switches off automatically when the engine is running I think its a safety issue.

A leap in the dark here, as our f/f is a Dometic....

A similar problem was solved by replacing the 20A fuse that sits directly on the '+' pillar of the cab battery of our Fiat based MH.

Are you aware there are two separate 12V supplies to a 3-way fridge? See this recent thread

Start by proving whether you have 12v on the feed wires then you will know if it's a fridge problem or not. If no 12v then start looking at the wiring. Get a voltmeter. Invaluable for finding faults.

Thanks folks, I think I may have to investigate further. I think a couple of days looking checking and dreaming of being parked up in the highlands instead of the drive will hopefully get everything sorted. Thanks again

I presume you already have 12V from the Low Current (LC) supply - otherwise the fridge would not work on mains or gas either. So you need to see if the High Current (HC) supply is present. The HC probably is intended to work only when the engine is running. You could check at the fridge terminals. If 12V is present, but no cooling, then maybe the 12V element has blown. But most likely there will be a problem somewhere in the HC supply - fuse, relay, bad connection etc.
