I have just finished this. A true story of two people losing everything, one of you given a terminal diagnoses, and walking the South West Coast Path of over 600 miles, wild camping in all weathers. Great book and one that makes you think.

I read it last year ... it was profoundly moving and inspirational. I had such a deep sense of injustice at the way their ‘friend’ had treated them.

Thanks for that, just downloaded free sample to Kindle and will give it a read and if I like it will download full book.

Grianan I agree, some friend, but it also shows how a change of plan can bring hope.

Read this recently and I found it very moving. ‘There for the grace of god‘

I have walked the first 100 miles of the path over the last few years and read it last year. It is very moving.
