The plan is to wander around Norway.

I think a route up through Sweden likely to have a little more (not much) interest than Finland. There is nowhere better than Stockholm in summer (June July). At least it breaks up the tree lined roads a bit.
I will try and find the post where I put the great spot where I saw motorhomes parked up last time I was there.

A quick update.

I applied for a Flyt toll tag last Monday and it arrived yesterday. Fairly impressive given it takes longer to get some things in the UK.

Need to work out how to link it to the ferry pass now. Thats a job for tomorrow.

Be aware of your toll routes. I drove for 2 days only and aquired a toll bill of £74. could have been bridges!
I have been measuring likely toll costs through this site.

They haven’t been anything like that. Which bridges did you use?

Did you take any ferries? The toll tags also cover ferries so if you didn’t register for the 50% reduction, could it be that?

Likewise - our Norwegian toll road and toll bridge costs were minimal for the 3 months away in Scandinavia. Similarly, we didn't spend all of our Norway ferry pre-payment and received a refund on the balance on our return, despite using a lot of ferries.

Only the famous, enormous Øresund Bridge (and associated tunnels) - between Sweden and Denmark is particularly pricey.

We started to watch and got a bit bored I seem to recall. If I have the right one I think he was on his own and seemed to get a bit lonely which is understandable. I’ll have another look.
No you’re right. Some episodes (and there about 26 altogether) do get a bit stale. The book is a nice starting reference though for a trip.

I think someone has ripped you off. I don't think it's possible to get through £74 of tolls in Norway in 2 days otherwise.
I dont think I got the special ecconomy version. I think this shows pre planning and understanding how it all works is important, dont just assume.

Yes mine came last week👍👍
still waiting on mine , but I'll need to email customer services once it arrives as I rushed the online application and omitted to include Austria .:cry:.
On my profile it just says valid for Scandinavia which I assume covers Sweden , Denmark and Norway

Yes it should say Scandinavia and Austria 👍

I have now contacted AUTOpassferje and completed an emaiked form to link the FLYT tag and get 50% discount on ferries. I had to pay 2200 NOK, about £170 as prepayment.

I doubt we will spend that much. My understanding is we will be able to get whatever balance is left as a refund.

Yes. Even after a couple of months in Norway, and a lot of ferries, we still had something like £50 left from our original ferry prepayment. Once we notified them that we had left the country, reimbursement of the balance was quick.

That’s good to hear. How did you notify them?
