Just been reading and article about tonights sky in France. Earth is passing through the debris stream left by Comet Swift-Tuttle.

They say there could be upto 100 shooting stars a hour.

Have sat watching from the van in the past but can't get to favourite spot tonight.

Unfortunately there is a big Moon tonight which will make spotting any meteors a bit tricky. Bright ones will be visible but not the fainter ones.
