For fellow Funsters traveling up or down the A1(M) who need LPG, ignore the Moto services, even if they say they are selling and confirm on MyLPG. I tried two and in one was told ‘we don’t sell it any more’ even though the Motorway services sign say they do. The second just said the pump doesn’t work.
However help is close to hand; Autogas 2000 Leisure at Carlton Miniott, on the A61 just outside of Thirsk can help: .65 litre.
They also allow MoHo overnight.
