Just wanted to say Thank You to whoever it was who recommended The Dog Inn campsite, sorry I forgot who it was as it was about a month ago. Just spent 4 nights there. Everyone really friendly. Nice pub, good food. Loads of walks directly off site too (y) and as there was no shower block I got to use the shower in the van for only the second time in 5 years :giggle: Edited to say, no Wi Fi and no TV. My laptop thought I had died :giggle:

Really nice and dog friendly they even provided beds for the dogs to lie on. I left Jack in the van as he was too hot to be nice to other dogs :giggle: He had four battery powered fans on in the van which kept him cool and there was a nice breeze from outside blowing in.

I hate to say this but there is the best CL site in Ludham I’ve ever been to, it’s called Manor Lodge farm,please don’t book for next June as im stopping for 3 weeks. ,thank you👍

They are struggling with lack of staff and are advertising at the moment for all staff. Chef, waiters and bar staff. They close on Mondays because of staff shortages. I watched quite a few people turn up last night only to discover the pub was closed. Most of the people I spoke to in the bar over the weekend were from either the caravan club site down the road or were local boat owners. The landlord was very well liked by the locals and visitors (y)

Try the kings arms in ludham,,great pub and food,,banging butchers just opposite👍
