Very brave, very sad to read the story earlier today, my OH has always had a crush on her. Hope her Christmas is all she hopes it to be and more.

Yes very sad to read and there comes a time when even the treatment is so invasive it helps to make the decision to stop a little easier.

And another thing, if you read some of the awful comments in the Mail on this story it makes you wonder whether some of these people have ever been ill in their lives or lost loved ones to this dreadful disease. The mind boggles at how moronic these posters are.

I haven't been there for a while and will take your word for it, but sadly I can imagine.

I've always liked her, the entertainment industry is losing a wonderful personality. Fame has never spoiled her, she's lovely. Its very sad.

Such a sad story. We knew the poor lady was ill, but I had hoped she would be here to celebrate her last Christmas with her family and friends :(

RIP to a brave lady :(
