That old Fiat windscreen leak

With the return of rain after out February mini Spring I thought I'd lift the bonnet to check things out.
2008 x250.
Jesus Christ there's water dripping all over the engine.

I've sealed up the centre joint earlier and fixed the main drain and plenum drain but obviously need to do more.

It's got the plastic 'cam cover' but there's a drip right where it isn't.

What puzzles me is that there seems to be some ingress between the actual window glass and the lower finisher?

What a crap job Fiat did with this.

I might have to make an internal 'umbrella' for the engine.

i have put a length of 2mm butil a bot 12" long and 8" wide under the centre joint of the scuttle suspended with 2 cable ties and then attached to the front near the bonnet catch area.

you can see its been effective as there is no water marks on my engine and there is a water stain across the butil where the water drains off.

i tried lots of other sealant etc nothing seemed to stop it.
