Not enough
I have a relative who has kindly offered me the use of there motorhome for a week or two. I would appreciate any advice on the best way of insuring it for short periods. Are there any specialist insurers out there, and any ideas regarding a weekly cost? The vehicle is a 2 birth Autotrail with an estimated value of around £35k.

you might contact one of the companies that help facilitate booking, legal agreements and insurance for private motorhome owners that rent them out. Post 2 seems easier though.

I think post 2 is the only way to go - I don’t think two people can insure the same vehicle.

If its a rental then LV do this, but I think the main insurer has to arrange it. We hired one about 5 years ago and got 5 days insurance with LV

Thanks for the advice, I was hoping to insure it separately, which would protect his NCD should anything unfortunate happen.
