Few years now
I noted a bit of water under the kitchen unit of my Adria twin. After doing a bit of investigation , it appears to be coming from the body of the tap (the green looking area). I have a couple of questions.
Are these taps a standard size to replace.
Are the connectors a standard size/ fitment?
What do the electric wires do?
Thanks Howard

1. Yes they are but you have to buy the right one. The connectors come in different dia's but are standard. You will not have to replace these, they are a push to fit connector. To release push in the outer rim and they will just disconnect.
The wires which will have a push fit on the bottom of the tap are connected to a micro switch in the tap which will activate the water pump.

I would try and establish exactly where the leak is coming from, it might just be a simple case of tightening the tap locking ring (black nut) as surface water is getting past the seal and the tap not actually leaking.

The locking ring was tight, it definitley looks like its coming from inside the body of the tap. Just trying to drain the system now so I can remove it.

The tap is a Reich Trend E tap.
They come in two sizes and the size relates to the part that goes through the worktop. It is either 27mm or 32mm. The two wires are for systems that run the pump on tap use not the pressurised system that I think you will have in your Adria.
if you have water appearing from where you say you have it can reasonably only be coming from a few areas. It could be water coming from above, and making it under the tap and then running down, which I assume you would notice water sitting on the worktop, or the water could be coming from where one, or both you pipes push into the bottom of your tap body. Any other leaks will be above the worktop. Unless the actual plastic body of the tap has a crack in it. If you unscrew the lever sticking out you can then pull off the chrome top, this then exposes a screw, remove, then unscrew chrome dome. Then you will see the nut that holds the cartridge in place. This can be tricky to get a spanner on. Ideally you want a 30mm box spanner (a socket is too thick walled) or on an older version it will be a metal nut with two flats on that is a bit easier to remove with spanner. The bottom of the cartridge is where the seals are. You may only need to “nip” up the above mentioned nut.

To remove the tap. Turn off water pump. Open tap to release pressure. Open frost valve whilst tap Is open. This allows the water to drain away from the pipe work. Then remove small black horse shoe shape clips from the top of the two pipe joiners (Although I cant see them in your pic), them push the pipe INTO the fitting, and then press inward the white ring, whilst doing this pull the pipe out. Once both pipes out undo nut under tap and nut will come down over the pipes and you can remove the tap.

Guess what I was doing yesterday? In an Adria, too a Reich Trend E tap 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

The tails are a push fit onto the bottom of the tap body and are then secured with a green clip. It looks like water was leaking past one of the rubber o rings. Does anyone know if these o rings are a standard size?

Seems to be sorted now. Gave everything a clean and added a blob of silicon before refitting the tails. Just ran half a tank of water through it with no signs of any leaks. Will monitor for the next few trips.
