I'm a newbie
I have a 2005 Burstner A576, can anyone tell what tap I need for the bathroom, can't tell if it micro switch or just pressure.

TIA Martin

Hi Martin

If you look underneath and can see a couple of wires then it's a microswitch one.

It has 2 wires underneath but arent connected to anything.
In which case it may be that a previous owner only had a microswitch one available so used that rather than one without as it doesn't make any different to the use of the tap in a pressurised system.

What's under your kitchen sink tap?

Another way to tell is does your pump run for quite a time when you switch on the control panel after filling even if the taps are off if so its a pressure system.
I got out last replacement tap from Screwfix it looks just like the one I bought last time at a caravan repairers but at a fraction of the price.

Has the water pump been changed for a pressure type or a pressure switch fitted in the existing system?
Burstner's normally have a submersible pump with micro switched taps.

If i dont push the kitchen tap right down the pump carries on making a noise, I've just looked again the 2 wires are connected by a spade type fixing. I wanted to change the tap, but i found that the spout comes off, any ideas where i can get a new one.

I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere but seeing as you're a newbie I don't want to corrupt you quite yet! :giggle:
