I’m going to buy a months tax being there 2 half weeks just to save messing around
I,m planning on driving the grand tour roughly as anyone done it or am I bite ing off to much.
Been doing some homework am I correct in thinking I mite as well just use campsite as the few aires are almost as expensive.
Any help gratefully received.

They just take the weight from your V5
Aires and campsites are expensive, but worth it. There are a small number of free places
Food shopping is VERY expensive so stock up before you go.

That’s why I asking about being weighed it would be cheaper to buy food than pay a big fine.
My log book says 3850 Autotrail trail weight label says 3800

If you get a control then it will be via your documents first, unlikely they'll use a weigh bridge and if you fly under the radar then there's no weigh bridges at 95% of entry points. We came in last night with possibly a "bit too much beef":D so we passed through the back door.

Just breathe in when you pass through and look like 3.5t
