Feel like an old timer
My Fiat Ducato based Hobby 2007 has the foot well heater duct facing my feet as driver, Swimbo has cold feet and its minus 12C outside today. Looking under the central controls there is a duct (very fixed) facing left (looking forward) (Left hand Drive). Has anyone had this problem and any solutions on how to share my heat!!!!!

Teach SWIMBO how to drive, it's nice to share :winky: ps, Mrs Bouncy doesn't drive either, but it's me that gets cold feet, bl@@dy chillblains.

I remember there being a vent somewhere near the seat that causes a draft
There was a cover for this or could be covered with duct tape
Cant remember which model it was fitted on

I am sure there was a home made mod deflector to deliver heat to both sides of the footwell on a previous thread, I will let the sherlock Holmes amongst you find it though, as I am crap using the search facility.
I remember once the lower facia was dismantled it was visually obvious why the heat was only getting to one side, I think this has now been amended somewhat on later models, as now both sides of the footwell are bloody freezing🥶. Fiat heaters do take their time in warming things up down there from a cold start.
Hope you find the solution.

My A class is 2016 and the heating is very lacklustre even down by the footwell. I realise it's got to heat a bigger volume but OH's little Hyundai is like a sauna if you turn the temperature to max.

I know nothing of this as, I think, mine is warm both sides but if it were not, I would get a hole cutter and see if a hole could not be cut into the duct and connect a pipe, is this not possible?

I also have an insulate curtain which isolates the cab from the habitation. This is supplied with the Murvi.

For very cold days, electric socks could be an answer for really cold feet. You can get them with rechargeable batteries, or to be plugged into 12V (intended for motorcyclists). Doesn't help with lower leg warmth though.

We have done the mod of putting a vent in the “footplate”of the driver’s side. However we have not yet had the heart to cut the converted fitted carpet!
I cannot remember if I did photos, will go and look.
