have you tried removing it and disconnecting it, leave it for a minute then reconnect again? it used to work with our swift bolero whenever it refused to boot up

Thanks Mr B

Haven’t tried anything yet, or re-booting as haven’t found how to re-boot it yet

Try holding the on/off button for 10 secs, if this doesnt work hold up & down buttons for 10 secs, think this will reset it.

Thanks Charlie9038

So I tentatively removed the panel and found this in the back, so hoping replacing will solve the issue, seems mad something wired would also have a battery also....

i think thats a back up battery for the display to keep the clock running if there is no power to the control unit.

when you reconnect the unit (with the battery back in!) did it reset itself?

I have put the battery back in and its not the battery, tried the re-boot process as above, nothing seems to happen. Display screen illuminates though not displaying any info/ menu on the screen

did you disconnect the unit from the electrical connector on the back?

No I haven’t disconnect connector as couldn’t see how to separate the wired fittings, will wait till tomoz as going dark now before trying again

I currently have MoHo on EHU on drive and have just found out we had a power cut in early hours Sat morn, just turned main panel on/off and display is now back on...

Thanks to all who tried to help, appreciated ?

If your Swift control panel is unable to stay alive without a 240 volt connection then it's worth checking that your leisure battery is in good order. Not sure of the age of your motorhome but three years from new the batteries fitted as standard tend to fail.

I have exactly the same panel and it sometimes freezes and wont turn anything on.
I just cycle the power button on the sargeant unit and it resets no problem.

I tried the power button with no effect, turning the main switch (fuse box) on/off brought the display on instantly, now all good...
