Swapping Solar Controller

Can someone tell me the sequence for disconnecting/connecting the wiring, I am swapping the OE PWM (which I don't think is working) for a Victron 75/15 Mppt.

Disconnect the solar panel first and reconnect it last.. Or do it after sunset

As above is I would do. If you throw something over the panel to cover a bit of it whilst doing the job, that might be an idea, although right now, couldn't zap a fly with the output of a solar panel.

Whilst you are playing with switching over I fitted a fuse with breaker button to the positive of the solar panel just next to the solar controller. That way I can disconnect solar panel at the click of a button rather than unscrewing terminals etc...
