Sunshine Pure Sine Wave 2000w inverter

I had a 1000w I think and it was very good but is 2000w enough its only £100 more for a 3000w and make it future proof? As time goes on we will use gas less and electric more with better batteries and better solar and most kettles are now 2500-3000w a high speed toaster is 2000w and so on.

Never advisable to buy an inverter bigger than you need the bigger the inverter the higher the standby current.
Also if you have big one there is a tenancy to use it when you probably haven't got a suitable battery bank.
Unless you have Lithium to run a 2000 watt inverter at max you need 800 ah of batteries and you need a means of charging them.
