A plain rail, eg

We've got an old Fiamma Caravanstore (zip-bag type) from a previous van that I'd like to mount on the new one.
Given the rarity of its use, due to mainly using wildcamps, aires or short overnights, we can't really justify a "proper" wind out one. So I just need a simple track.

Yes, that's also my thinking too, but I've found that by phoning a few firms I sometimes strike lucky with at least a suggestion that gets me closer to where I want to get. Unfortunately most of the larger online/mail order firms are staffed with folk who have little or no idea what their products actually do and only know part numbers.

I had a 3m length of the rail in your picture delivered in a day or two……I’ll see if I can find the order from who I got it from….

I think it was Attwools, but direct from their store not the flea bay site.

Thank you, Attwools do have it on the ir own site ( which is where my pic came from). Maybe I'm flogging a dead horse, but I was "hoping" to find somewhere within 20 miles with it in stock to save on £15 p&p on a £27 product value, and meet and support a local business...

it is available mail order in 3m lengths, i bought it on two maybe three occassions from different suppliers over the years (cant remember which) and carriage is not cheap.
just read your last post , that is cheap snap thier hands off.

Only ever been once to Towsure and found them to be totally unhelpful and shop that is best summed up as a total disorganised mess.
We wont be going back in a hurry.
