12v 19l/m submersible water pump packed up after only 21 years use

anyone have any ideas on which to buy, which to avoid ?

There also seems to be a small coarse filter in line which broke during removal, do we think this is necessary ?

Thanks
Tony

Always used "Whale" pumps on the boat, never changed one.

The Reich tandem works well in our Hymer. Did try to uprate to the 25lt one but it was far too noisy, took it out again, back to a tandem.

Another vote for the Reich Tandem, good enough for Hymer good enough for me.

Here you are - remember to specify the version with the non-return valve. Also, keep and take care of the clip-on grit filter off the bottom of the old pump and the screw-on pipe fittings that hold the pump to the tank top as these are hard to get.

Check the pump before ordering our pump does not have a non return valve, it is in the pipe outside the tank.
