We are off to Spain in mid November and information about stopovers, aires or campsites, on the route from San Sebastian via Pamplona - Zaragoza - Teruel - Valencia (A23) would be appreciated.

How many stops do you want to make? It could be done in a day, with an early start. Or as far as Navajas where there's a decent ACSI campsite; and an Aire a few miles further on at Segorbe.

Only one stop on the Spanish leg. We will overnight at Biarritz so somewhere not to o far from the motorway and 300 to 350 miles would be ideal.

Free aire with free water and dump facilities. On the aire you have the choice of facing a brick wall or the terraced houses with garages opposite. The garages are mainly used for agricultural tractors and when I was there a few weeks ago the tractors were in use from before 6am and very noisy.
Co-ordinates are 41.33800 -1.23064

There is an aire at Marcilla which we used a year or so ago.
Its on the edge of town behind a sports centre and close to the motorway.
Here is my video which has GPS co-ordinates at the end.

Dinopolis at Teruel. Massive free carpark, supermarket, fuel with GPL and a McDonald's. There is also a takeaway pizza shop just across the road from the garage.

Echo BeanoDeano above. We've been using Dinopolis for the last seven years without problems. Acres of room. Dinopolis signed off the A23. No dump or water, though.

We find the short cut bypassing Zaragoza worth taking. It leaves the A23 at jnct 19, signed the N122 to Magellon, then the A121 through La Almunia de Dona Godina. Then the A120 to Carinena, where we rejoin the A23.

San Sebastian to Dinopolis is doable for us.
