Stopover near Harry Potter World

Taking my Grandson to HPW in Feb half term. Unfortunately, only entry tickets I could get were 5:30 in the evening so unlikely to exit until 8 or 8:30. Looking for somewhere where we can turn up late and park for the night not too far away from the tour.

Anyone any ideas?

What about the Royal Oak pub - if you have a meal? Car park at North Watford cemetery?

Sorry can't think of anywhere to park but I have made a couple of enjoyable visits to HPW

Just back - did stay at The Boot - some feedback…

Pros:
Great food and not badly priced in the evening
Very friendly staff
less than 20 minutes to Harry Potter
Do a great breakfast for £11

Cons:
£15 to stay over - bit of as muddy field and not too easy access through the car park
4 miles of narrow, sometimes VERY narrow roads after leaving the motorway and no alternatives - not great in 9m vehicle


As a result once parked up we got a taxi there and back to HPW £20 each way but saved a lot of stress - getting in and out just once was stress enough

Overall, a good time was had by all!
